Paul Sweetman and Roberta Comunian recently attended the 2nd European Colloquium on Culture, Creativity and Economy in Berlin on 10-11 October 2013. As well as contributing to panel discussions on Working with Creativity and Planning for Creativity respectively, Paul presented a paper on Processes of Consecration and Transubstantiation in Art Openings and Installations, and Roberta presented one on “Festivals as Communities of Practice: learning by doing and knowledge networks amongst artists”.
The conference was held at Tangoloft, Berlin, and was organised by the Department of Social and Economic Geography, Uppsala University, Sweden, in collaboration with the Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning (IRS) and the Department of Economic Geography at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.
