Dr Ruth Adams is back from Bogota, Colombia, where she was speaking at MICSUR, a pan-South American creative industries convention.
The event was quite the CMCI reunion. Ruth’s invitation to speak came from an MA Cultural & Creative Industries alumna, Natalia Manrique, now working in the Communications Department of Universidad El Bosque, and while visiting the fair they bumped into former MA Arts & Cultural Management student Elvira Correra, who was there as a representative of the Chilean Arts Council.
Ruth (pictured at the podium) was also invited to contribute to a special cultural industries edition of El Malpensante, a Colombian literary magazine that was participating in MICSUR.
