Professor Andy Pratt has had a busy couple of weeks flying back and forth to Europe between lectures and seminars at King’s College London. On 7 February 2013 he gave a series of lectures for the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin

Located in Friedricstrasse (near Checkpoint Charlie) it is Germany’s leading professional school for public policy studies. Andy was teaching executive seminars on topics associated with the creative city, and creative city policies, for the new executive education programme on cultural policy. This was the first year of the programme which was launched the evening before.
Andy is also visiting professor at the University of Turin, and he was teaching on the MA Cultural Projects for Development on 11 and 12 February 2013. ILO international training system campus was the location. Details of this programme are here http://worldheritage.itcilo.org/home
The programme which is run in association with UNESCO and the World Heritage Organisation helps train those already working in managing world heritage sites, and other cultural projects mainly in the Global South. This programme has been going 10 years, and Andy has been teaching on it for 6 years.
